One of my biggest collegiate goals is committing to any school that offers both a strong softball program, but also offers the major I am interested in, which is psychology. I can picture myself on the big stage of any college field, facing some the best competition there is.
I consider myself a good candidate for the team as I have a team-first mindset and am always willing to work 110% harder than my peers, committing to the sport I love. A few dividing factors that set me apart from other candidates are that I am always pushing myself to work harder than those around me, even if it means putting my body through the extremes. I do not consider myself as a person that quits or loses faith easily.
As a teammate, I am always rooting for those around me and picking up teammates if I see that they may be having some frustrations. I have also been told by various coaches that I have promising leadership qualities both on and off the field.
Balance is something I like to maintain in my lifestyle, and I believe I succeed in sustaining it. I am always making sure to stay on top of my classes, my main goal being sustaining a 95 or above in all subjects. Balancing classes, softball, and personal life can be difficult but I believe I have a great sense of maintaining it.
