Kayla Roberts '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kayla and I was 8 years old when I started playing softball. My mom gave me the idea to pursue softball because she played in high school. She has taught me the fundamentals of this sport and has been instrumental in my love for this game. When I was 9 years old, I started to play travel ball, and this is when I truly realized softball was my passion. I love the competitiveness of it and how a team can come together and prevail. I have also enjoyed traveling with my teammates to nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Sacramento, California.

I’m looking for a college that will support me academically, as well as on the field. I have dreams of opening and running my own business someday; therefore, I will be pursuing a business degree. I would prefer to play for a school where my skills can be utilized early in my college career versus a popular school where it may take a couple of years to get on the field.
