Hannah Grumbles #...Personal Statement
Update (09/14/2018): Softball has been part of my life for 13 years of my life now and believe that it is the reason that I have been shaped into the hard worker that I am. I have lettered on varsity for 4 years of high school and as I finish up my Senior year, I reflect on the tough times that made me tougher and the fulfilling times that made it all worth it. I have received all district academic and athletic honors as well as a starting position on varsity. I also do my job as a well-rounded player for my select team Mid County MOJO Birdwell.
As far as my academic standings, I stress about my grades but it paid off since currently I am ranked 21 of 347 students; our school is athletically and academically competitive so I am proud of this achievement and will work just has hard to stay in the top 5% and try to work my way up! I have served as a Student Council officer and the TNT program, which brings drug and alcohol awareness to elementary children in our district. This year, my focus is community service through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes(FCA) and National Honor Society.

- Although this event has ended; it was an unusual opportunity for me to pick up with my former select team. We competed in the High School division and placed 3rd; I had a great offensive weekend with 2 stand up doubles and a triple. Between the 3 hits, produced 4 runs, one being the game winning run in ITB. Defensively I played primarily at 3rd and 2nd; with some great plays.
