I first started playing ball when I was four years old, keep in mind it was tee-ball at the beginning, then started playing baseball from six to nine years old. Being a daughter of a collegiate head baseball coach, I wanted to play with the boys. I was told in little league I could no longer play baseball and had to move towards softball. I was a bit upset at first but I could not get away from the smell of the field or the passion of a ball and a bat. I wanted to continue with the competitiveness that I was brought up with by my dad and sisters who also play softball. I have played on several select teams throughout seasons and have continue to play. As a Freshman I was a starting third baseman and batting fourth in the lineup for the 5A Varsity Team of Brackenridge High School and was selected as Second Team All-District. I am currently a Sophomore still starting third baseman and continue to bat fourth in the line up and Second Team All-District this past season. I've been told by several coaches that I bring it. When I asked, "Bring it?" They mention the leadership, hard work , fire, desire, and passion for the game. When I play at the next level I want an institution and program that has the same winning characteristics I have been brought up with.....and yeah the "BRING IT!!"
