Softball is and will forever be my passion. Softball brings out some of the best qualities of myself including hard work, determination and great leadership skills, these qualities make me a great unique candidate. I have always had a powerful arm and great foot work and athletic ability. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and have been dreaming of the day I hit high school and working towards the day I get to college softball. I made the varsity team my freshman year and have been working my tail off everyday since. Some of my best strengths on the field are my communication skills, great movement with the ball ability and really knowing my rights and wrongs of the field.
I think of myself as a very outgoing teammate, and try to make the best out of every situation possible. I push my teammates and friends to get them to there full potential on and off the field while working as hard as I can possible to help improve my own skills and qualities. Academics are one of the best qualities of a student athlete, as well as softball. I work to my full potential as a student, and use my resources to exceed to the highest expectation of myself.
One thing that is very important to me as my career progresses is to be able to balance school and sports, and being able to go somewhere that will challenge both aspects, while also being a good fit with location, price, academics, and athletics. I can rarely sit still, so I enjoy to busy myself throughout the school year, and find myself in many clubs and after-school activities year-round.
