There are a lot of things that have influenced me as an athlete and a student. My eighth grade year I was pulled up to varsity softball and it really changed the way I looked at softball. Before I was brought up to play I loved the sport, after I was pulled up and played it made me realize the opportunities it gave me to express who I was without using words. Playing softball also made me realize that I was really good with working with people. You need to be a team to achieve what you want.
Academically I feel that there is a lot more that I need to learn to know what I want to do in my future. But I know that I want to go to college for something that will make me happy after i'm done school. There are those days where I don't feel like doing anything, but sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do, that is what I have learned. But no matter what I know i'm going to look back and be glad I did it. I really enjoy doing small things like, hiking and just nature its self.
