Theresa Boyd '19 Recruiting Profile

College provides an opportunity for growth and learning. In seeking to find a place to attend, I am looking for a school where I can focus on my two main interests--softball and academics. I left the public school setting to enter into a college prep school for high school in order to get better prepared for college level work. PVI has given me an excellent environment to learn where the expectations have been high in both academics and athletics. I want to continue my education in a place that values the importance of hard work. I enjoy learning new things and I love the structure that being a part of a softball team gives me. I have developed positive relationships with the players that I have played with and I have come to appreciate the camaraderie that being a part of a team has afforded me. This year I will be one of the oldest players on my high school team and I plan to take on a leadership role. I believe the skills I have developed over time as a student-athlete will make me an excellent candidate to attend your school.
