Ever since I started playing softball, at age 9, I knew I wanted to play ball in college. Now that I am in high school, I have worked harder than ever to fulfill that dream. I am a good candidate for college softball because I always keep a positive attitude and I am very coachable. I try to stay optimistic on the field and learn from my mistakes and move past them. I believe that I am different from other student athletes because I want to help not just myself, but also my teammates. Additionally, I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA while playing on both travel and high school varsity teams. I take academics very seriously and strive for excellence in the classroom as well as on the field.
