It has been a dream of mine since I was young to play sports in college. But, when I was young, I had never really heard of lacrosse until my brother started playing in high school. I began to play for my high school varsity team in 9th grade, and fell in love with the sport. Now that my skills have improved and my love for the sport has only gotten stronger, I realize my path to college lacrosse has started to become clearer.
My collegiate goals:
1. I would like to improve my skills enough to be able to have the choice of attending a school best fit for me.
2. To attend a college that I fit into with both sports and academics. I also would require the college to hold my intended major.
3. Lastly, to be apart of a team that I will be able to contribute to and help grow.
In all sports I play, I strive to be the best that I can be and to understand my place on the team. I could be the leader of the team, or only be on the team as a backup for a certain position. Either way, my main goal is to help better the team in any way. Through any great win and any great loss, it is important to always be there for your team, make your program look good, and leave it all on the field.
In my athletics, I have always been a versatile player. I am a multi- sport athlete, which include volleyball, indoor track, and lacrosse. I have always had a passion to be great and have always been good at learning new things. I began playing lacrosse in 9th grade and started as a middie on varsity. In both my Freshman and Sophomore years, I have earned All-Region honorable mention and have received much praise for my hustle and talent on the field. Now, as I head to a new school for my Junior and Senior years, I understand my need for improvement in both athletics and academics to be prepared for my next step into collegiate lacrosse.
In academics, I have always been an Honor- Roll student in addition to taking honors and advanced classes. I always make sure to work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.
