When I was six years old my Mom encouraged me to play softball. I have since come to love the sport. Since the first time I stepped on the field I have continued to experience a feeling of excitement. The feeling of hitting the ball in the gap or making a stellar play is an inexpiable feeling of exhilaration and accomplishment. Softball has become my stress reliever. By going out and throwing it makes me feel better. When I’m sick softball is my cure.
I am a very flexible athlete. Even though my primary position is outfield, through experience and coaching I have developed the skills to play third base, first base and shortstop. Softball has allowed me to become a well -rounded teenager. I am a gregarious young lady who also enjoys music. I am committed to my academic excellence and aspire to establish a career in the medical field. My career options include becoming a sports physician, Nurse Practitioner or Orthopedic Specialist. I understand that this career choice will require hard work, dedication and discipline. As a varsity athlete my freshman year, I have learned how to use these qualities to achieve your desired goals.
