Hi, my name is Layne Fritz. I am in the class of 2022 and play various positions including pitcher, shortstop, and second and third base. I hope to attend a great academic school with a competitive softball program. Although I am still unsure as to what my major will be, I do have some interest in the field of chemistry. I am a hard working individual who has a very competitive nature in both academics and athletics. I am a versatile player who can play on both sides of the field and still perform. I can take constructional criticism and feedback from my coaches, as they are there to make me a better player. I follow the rule that school comes before athletics, yet I can not only manage, but do well in both. I understand that this is a team sport, so I can work well with my teammates as well as support them.
