2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Hailey, and I am a Senior at York High School in Yorktown, Virginia. I primarily play 2nd and OF and this past season and my team was the runner up in the Class 3 Virginia State Tournament. I have been playing softball since I was 10 and can't imagine not being on the field. I have played every position on the field over the years but my favorites are middle infield and outfield but I am happy to play wherever the team needs me. I am very passionate about softball, and can't wait to play on the college level! My collegiate goals are to get a degree in biology and work in the microbiology field. I am currently enrolled in the International Bachelorette (IB) program at York High and I have received several academic honors. I am very excited about taking the next step towards my goals of being a college player and a college graduate!
