Group will be split based on age/skill level. Followed by Q&A session. 12-2pm - Defensive Session We will cover throwing and fielding mechanics, footwork and drills for both infield and outfield.

It is the perfect time to get back to work! School ball and fall ball tourneys will start soon and some Come join current UW coach, UW alumni, former professional softball player and USA National team member, Courtney Gano and our local college athletes for defensive skills training. We are also excited to work with Coach Ashley Carter, former UW hitting coach and clinician, will be joining us for two days. She will focus on hitting and mindset training. Monday, August 12th- Defensive training with Courtney Gano and our local college athletes Tuesday, August 13th - Focus will be on the offensive side of the game. Hitting with Ashley Carter and baserunning to improve run production with our local college athletes. Wednesday, August 14 - Mindset training for a more positive and competitive athlete with Ashley Carter. Brooke Nelson -UW Defense training. Additional defensive skill work with local college athletes.

USSSA All-American Fastpitch Games

Attended one of the 23 tryouts across the country! At every tryout, athletes will go through multiple stations that include athletic testing, position evaluations, and hitting evaluations. Athletes are evaluated based on their individual skill level and athleticism. After the All American tryouts, the top athletes from each region will be selected to represent their region at the All American Games, which are held annually at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida. Selected for 13u Open for 2024 for the West Region as a Pitcher and Middle Infielder. Assigned to AAG- Hornets 13u team with Head Coach Joe Tenta.Pitched in 12-innings averaging 1 strikeout per inning. Closed out 2 innings with 3 strikeouts in each in 2 different games. ERA- 2.917 and WHIP-1.333

USA Softball annually conducts over 100 National Championships in each of its major disciplines of the sport — Fast Pitch, Slow Pitch and Modified Pitch. Since each competitor must earn their berth into a USA Softball National Championship through a network of qualifying tournaments conducted throughout the season, the champion goes home as the unchallenged best team in the nation for their respective division each year.
