Hi Coach
Thanks for watching my profile!
My name is Ashley Saenz and I live and go to school in Bothell, WA. I attend North Creek HS and will be graduating in the class of 2020. Currently playing for WA Ladyhawks Breer 16u Premier
My Passions
I’m looking for a school where I can continue my Softball and academic education. I’m interested in schools across the USA. I would love to continue to play at the next level and become the best player I can be while pursuing a degree in Sonography.
Fit test
I work hard inside and outside the field taking my studies seriously and making the most of my tightly-scheduled days.
I pride myself in being mentally in the game and knowing where the play is going to be. As a CF, I’m vocal and like the responsibility that comes with the position. I consider myself a good teammate asking and providing support when needed.
I believe and know that I will be an asset to any team as I will not only give everything I have inside the field but will also put the same effort in the classroom.
Accomplishments and strengths
I have been told by my coaches that I am a triple threat and the best athlete in the team. I can bunt, slap (soft/power) and hit away. I enjoy being the lead off and getting on base as this sets the tone at the start of the game and pumps my team to give their best as well.
I'm proud to say that I was the starting slapper for the #1 ranked team in the state of Washington (#35 in the US). https://usclubrankings.com/fastpitch/rankings/14u-nps-2017
As part of a recent OnDeck camp, I took the TAP assessment and I was identified as a “Rocket” or “Driven” athlete. I will continue working on my strengths (“Focused on getting things done”, “Confident, in-charge style”) as well as improving my weaknesses (“May be overconfident in decisions” and “Could be perceived as cocky”).
Looking forward to playing for you
I’m looking for a school that will push me to be the best athlete I can be as I take the next step in my lifelong journey.
I’ll work hard this season, posting highlights and improvements.
I’ll update my schedule as it becomes available. Hope to talk to you soon.
Thanks,
Ashley
