Personal Statement

Hello Coaches,

My name is Serena Hewes and I am in the 2024 grad class.  I attend school at River Homelink in Battle Ground, Wa. but I do my sports through Prairie high . I play club softball with Tigard Blast  out of Tigard Oregon for my Senior year .  I hope to play softball at the college level when I graduate high school. I love reading and spending a lot of time outdoors. I am also aspiring to be a police officer in the future.

What makes me different from other players is that I am a leader and lead by good example, I am very coachable and take what they are saying and put it into action. I always give it my all on and off the field. I always have a good attitude and if a teammate is having trouble I cheer them on and tell them they will get it next time. I will always give 110 percent. I am very competitive but also have a lot of fun at the same time. I am very loud and vocal when I am playing the game. I am always early to events that I go to. And I live by the mottos "Always do your best and don't give up" and Early is on time, and on time is late".

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
