My name is Cali Turigliatto and I am currently a Senior at Prairie High School located in Vancouver, WA. I have been playing soccer since 2011 and from day one I fell in love with the game. I am a very supportive, sociable person with a fun and loving personality who believes that honesty is a very important value to have. In my free time I love to hang out with my friends, listen to music, drive around, and paint. For work, I work as a hostess at Applebee's, house sit, dog sit, and I volunteer as the manager for my high schools boys soccer team. My friends and family are my biggest support system, they have always pushed me to be the best version of myself on and off the field. As a student, I am respectful and helpful, taking pride in my grades/GPA. As an athlete, I focus on being a leader, being coach-able, having open communication with my teammates, and having a team-first, positive mentality.
I aspire to be a great collegiate athlete, playing for an amazing school while furthering my education in a field related to Nursing, specializing in Sports Medicine or Orthopedics. It is my goal to play at the highest level possible and I look forward to the journey ahead that will help me reach exactly that. One of my main goals is to be successful in my adult life, and I have been working towards that goal. I am a hard working, dedicated player and will always strive to give my all to my club, team, school and organization.
I was awarded with being selected for First Team All League as a center back in the GSH 3A/4A brackets for both the 21-22 and 22-23 high school seasons. I was also awarded the Defensive Player of the Year for the 21-22 and 22-23 seasons. I was nominated and awarded Honorable Mention All-State defender, and the Most Competitive Player award on my high school team.
