Navae Kinney '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Navae Kinney and I am a 5'9 first baseman and have been playing softball since I was old enough to have a ball in my hand. Softball is where my heart is and I want nothing more then to continue playing at the collegiate level. My coaches often tell me I have grit. I play every game as if it is my last, and play with 100% intensity every time I take the field or batters box. I am extremely focused and do not back down from a fight. Whether we are ahead or behind in a game, I will give my team everything I have.

Having played for so  long, I look at softball as the ultimate show of love, commitment, sacrifice, and accountability- Love for the game and my teammates, commitment to putting the team, practicing, and our goals above my own ambitions, sacrificing summers to dedicate time to a sport I love, and being held accountable for showing up when I'm tired, acknowledging when I can improve, and holding myself to the highest standards for education, athletics, and as a representation of my community and the school I play for.
