Hi, my name is Aggie Bennett and I am 20 years old. I am from a small community in Nine Mile Falls, WA (just north of Spokane).
I have had a very long softball journey. I played for years with the goal of playing in college. After the 2020 covid year, I was convinced I didn't want to play anymore and decided to not continue in college. That was the dumbest decision I have ever made.
I then decided to not continue with softball and go to Western Washington University and try out rugby. I loved the new challenge and quickly became a starting back on the team. However, I miss softball more than anything and really wanted to get back into it.
So last year I ended up getting recruited to play softball at Saint Augustine University in Raleigh, NC. The team was not what I was told it was going to be and just was not the right fit for me as an athlete. I have been in the transfer portal since August 2022. They only had 10 players so they allowed me to participate this season even though I am in the portal.
I love softball and the program I was a part of really made my love for the game drain. I am an athlete that can be molded into anything you need me to be and I am willing to work extremely hard to complete my goals. I really want to be a part of a program that is fun, inviting, and has players that love the sport as much as I do and want to become better too.
I will play any position needed, at any school that will take a chance on me. I am dying to continue my education and athletic career and will stop at nothing to make that happen.
Thank you so much for reading!
Sincerely,
Aggie Bennett
