Michaela Green '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michaela (Mikki) Green. I am currently catching for Sequim High School also catching and playing third for Diamond Dusters. I will be a graduate of 2025. My intensity and drive separates me from other athletes. Softball has taught me that I crave competition, intensity, working with a team and for a coach. I have a strong academic drive, taking college prep courses such as bio-med, while maintaining a 3.78 GPA. My career path is in the medical field, focusing on nursing. 

I enjoy intense preparation and working towards a common goal, even when there is no personal reward or recognition because the work, in itself, is the reward. I am persistent and I don't let disappointments define me, but build me so I can keep putting my best self out there. I became a starting utility player my freshman year. Our high school team had a senior catcher my freshman year, so I started at third or first base. Even though I wasn't playing the position I love, the experience of playing other positions strengthened me as a whole player, and now I love and feel just as confident at third and first base as I do catching.

I also play varsity basketball, but my love and passion is softball. Softball has been a big part of my life, traveling to Florida to win the championship at the Space Coast Cup Regionals was a highlight for me. I am a dedicated, hardworking, student-athlete who is looking to play the highest level of softball.
