My name is Kalli Wiker and I began playing tennis at a young age. I have been invested in this sport for over 10 years and I am hoping to continue my tennis experience in college. After losing the state championship as a freshman in 2018, and then becoming a doubles state champion in 2019, I was able to realize how working hard in every practice and focusing on my goals every day could enable me to accomplish great things. I became more confident as an athlete after becoming a state champion and it has helped me improve in my other sports as well. By being a multi-sport athlete and playing a different sport each season, competing in volleyball and basketball in the fall and winter, it allows for improvement in my athleticism and encourages growth in my tennis skills.
I am hoping to find a college that best fits me as a student athlete, since I strive in my academics, maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout my entire high school career. This shows that my coaches never had to worry about eligibility when I competed in games. I have always been a dedicated student athlete with a strong work ethic and I know I would be a great asset to your team. Thank you for your consideration.
