My name is Kiana Bagnell. I am currently a Junior at Musselman High School in Inwood, West Virginia. I was born November 2, 2003 in Winchester, Virginia. I am currently 5’6” and 130 lbs. I am a left handed hitter and thrower. My primary position is outfield and my secondary position is first base. I have played softball since I was seven years old after watching my cousin play in a travel ball tournament. The team played 7 games back to back to come out of the losers bracket all the way to the championship game. It was such an exciting experience that left quite an impression.
I respect the game of softball and all of my teammates and coaches. I know that without my coaches I would not be the player I am today. When I am not playing softball or in class I enjoy running and weight lifting. During the off season I participate in speed and quickness training as well as regular softball camps and clinics. Softball has already offered me so many incredible opportunities and has connected me with amazing coaches and players that I look up to everyday. When it comes to college I would like to major in forensic science. I am willing to put whatever it takes in to becoming the best softball player possible. I fully understand that academics are the most essential element of college but I believe that being part of a team creates life long bonds, teamwork and character.
