Linnea Freer '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Linnea Freer. I'm an outfielder from Wilson, Wisconsin. I'm a junior at Baldwin-Woodville High School. I play for Minnesota Magic and have for three years. My goal is to play at the collegiate level. I aspire to be a strong, confident; leader in the outfield while maintaining good grades in the classroom. I am a good candidate for your team because I am willing to go wherever. I want to find a college that I not only love the softball team, coaches, and environment but also the school as well even if it means going far from home. I'd say I'm different from other recruits because of my passion and perseverance. I have recently broke my ankle severely leading me to have one surgery so far with a second still in question. My ankle has put me out of my fall season but has not stopped me from doing what I love. I am now able to hit and field. I may not be where I used to be yet but I still have a long road of recovery ahead. I'm confident I will make a strong recovery and will lead me to not only learning more about myself but the game too. Thank you for reading my personal statement.
