Every team needs multiple leaders, and there comes great responsibility with being recognized as that role. Personally, I know and believe that I can make a great candidate for a handful of teams simply because of my natural abilities in leadership. Growing up, I have played numerous team sports allowing myself to really get a feel for the way these things work. I know that great success comes with countless hours of hard work, and I also know that the feeling of that hard work paying off is one of the best feelings in the world. As a leader and captain, I always push my girls to be the best version of themselves that they can be whether it's on or off the field. Creating a reputation for yourself is extremely important as most people think they know you based off of the impressions you have given others around you. I think one of the most important things you can remind yourself is to always do the right thing, especially when no one is watching. As a very competitive person, I see the potential in everyone and want them to strive for the best. I love the game of softball and my passion for it is extreme. I am a very hard-working, determined, and positive athlete who can respond to situations and make the correct impulsive decisions. I am confident in my abilities in athletics and academics for that matter, as well. Once I put my mind to something, I know that I will make it happen and that is the reason that I differ from other student-athletes.
