What a shot!!Personal Statement
My name is Ashley Theisen and I am going into 12th grade this fall. I live in Clinton, Wisconsin and I attend Clinton Jr. & Sr. High School. I will graduate in 2025. I have always been in the top 10 in my class. Last year I made the honor roll and was selected into the National Society of high school scholars (NSHSS). I have continued to be on the honor roll in my third year of high school and challenged myself with three additional AP classes.
I started playing travel softball eight years ago and consider myself a very hard worker and a leader of my team. I am primarily a pitcher but play second base also. I am willing to try any spot the coach asks me to play, except catcher. I love playing softball and want to play college ball someday. I am one of the captains of my team and try to lead by example as I take pitching lessons outside of practice and attend several camps a year. I have worked very hard and experienced the growing pains of my team that has also made me mentally tough. As a pitcher I know keeping my composure is so important for my team . I try to be their biggest support on and off the field.
This year I was voted to first team all conference as a pitcher and the Rock Valley Rock Player of the year. I was also voted Max Preps player of the year for my team. I also received the defensive player of the year, offensive player of the year, game changer, I broke seven existing school records, and pitched my first perfect game in high school. I also achieved a huge milestone of 500 K's in my career this year.
In my final year of high school I look to only improve my game through hard work and dedication to improving my skills away from practice. I also will work to maintain my GPA throughout my high school years. Learning to balance my academics with my athletics through many of my skills I learned from young on in karate.

The camp will feature quality instruction from active college coaches, verbal evaluations, provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process, and a seminar on recruiting and the college experience for both players and parents. Each session will consist of instruction in the following areas: skill work, strength work, mental training, metric based testing as well as education about the recruitment process.

- This was our first annual softball camp for the youth in our area community. 18 girls ages 3rd grade to 7th grade attended this camp. This eight hour camp was put on by the Clinton High school softball players and coaches. We went through defensive, hitting , pitching, and catching skills provided lunch and had a great first event while building this program in Clinton.

The PROSPECT teams represent the best of the best in the Game Day USA softball system , and participation is by invitation only and not open to anyone and everyone.

Leadership team for the Jr/Sr. high school. Small group picked out of the high school to make suggestions and meet with school leaders to make improvements throughout the district.
- ActivitiesBand, Math 24 team, Yearbook. I am also a karate black belt and I am red cross certified in swimming. Community service hours performed helping with the Booster Club concession stands at football games and raking leaves in the community. Community service hours for helping to serve meals at the play. Community service hours for helping deliver meals at our chili fundraiser. Helped at the first annual Clinton Cougar Softball Camp. We had 18 local girls from 3rd grade to 7th grade participate in a camp hosted by the Clinton Varsity softball players and coaches. This was an eight hour event full of skills and fun while building the program in our community! Community service hours performed at a golf outing to benefit a cancer patient. Community service hours performed at the second annual youth softball camp. This camp brought in 22 youth softball players together on two different days. Such an amazing event to be a part of. Did community service hours at a bake sale to raise money for a teammate that has been in the hospital since December!! My Junior year also did multiple community service hours for the softball program. This included working concessions, Italian Pasta Night, Gas pumping/ bake sale, and at our 3rd annual youth camp. This year it was a two day event with a total of 31 campers this year!!
