Softball has taught me so many things over the years I have been playing. It has taught me leadership that I can use on and off the field. It has taught me to not care what anyone thinks about me. It has taught me how to help other people.
When I coach and I see these little girls who look up to me and want to be like me and want to pitch because of me that is what keeps me wanting to play along with the love I have for the game. I never realized how many little girls can look up to someone like a high schooler until I started coaching.
