Michelle Butler '16 Recruiting Profile

Softball is the greatest sport in the world and here’s why. First, softball pushes me both mentally and physically.  Next, it offers the unequaled atmosphere of hanging around teammates (and close friends) in a highly competitive environment. Further, the game is fast paced and it consistently gives me a rush both on and off the mound.  Each game I enjoy the challenge of helping the team to perform its best with my arm, glove, bat, and spirit. And finally, as a pitcher, I love the one on one challenge with each batter faced and the feeling I get when the game is completely in my control as I know I give the team the best opportunity to win.

I do not want all of this to end after high school.  Instead, I would like to attend a top academic school that will provide both a quality education as well as and outlet for my love of softball.  In order to make this happen, I will continue to work hard both on the field and in the classroom.
