Lia Simon '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing softball when I was ten years old and it is a huge part of my life.  Softball has taught me invaluable life lessons that I will carry with me forever. It has taught me the importance of being disciplined, a team player, and a hard-worker. I always look forward to games and practices, so I can just compete, have fun, and not worry about anything else. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to play at a competitive level while being surrounded by some of the best teammates, coaches, and parents. On the field, I love competing to the best of my ability, supporting my teammates, and leading by setting an example. I love traveling to different states and seeing the new places that tournaments take me to. I am excited to be able to continue my journey through college while learning, getting better, meeting new people, and seeing new places. I would love to competitively play softball during college while still challenging myself academically as I am looking to go into the medical field.
