Macy Freeland '22 Recruiting Profile

Achieving First Team All-Conference , as well as an Honorable Mention All-District my freshman year of high school is one of my greatest achievements and something I will always be proud of. When it came time to play summer with my club team that same year, I struggled to just get a hit. It was during this period that I really found out what it meant to be apart of a team, and how to work through anything. This also taught me to that despite how good I might have done I should never be satisfied. I am an eight time captain and throughout the years I have found out how to be the best leader I can be for any team that I am on.  Not only do I believe that I have the leadership abilities for your team, but also the work-ethic and drive to always want to become better.

My academics have always been extremely important, having an academic as well as athletic balance in a college is a key component. I want to be the President of National Honors Society and receive as many academic awards that I can during high school, which I believe is a great starting point for college. I apply my leadership abilities in the classroom as well as on the field and I hope that my willingness to always become better allows me to fit right in to your school!
