Abby Barth '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abby and thanks for visiting my page. I am in the Class of 2027 (sophomore). I started playing softball at the age of 8 and I realized quickly that this sport was going to be my passion. Then I learned how to pitch and I fell in love with it even more! When I am in the circle I feel more comfortable and confident than any other area of my life. This helps me bring confidence to school, social activities and life in general. I am learning more and more how much the game will help me in my life and my goal is to use it to help me at the next level and for as long as I can. During an inning, during a game, during a season, I am learning how to navigate the ups and downs and stay strong. School is my top priority and I get great grades (I have a 4.0 GPA). I am coachable, I am a team player, and I always strive for success. My goal is to play in college and use softball and my grades to get the best education I can get. In a game where we fail more than we succeed, the highs of winning and succeeding keep me going and keep me working to get to that next level.
