I am a 2020 high school graduate who unfortunately missed out on the once in a life time experience of playing softball my senior year in high school due to COVID restrictions. Since then, I have been recruited by Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2020 where I study Criminal Justice and aspire to work in the law enforcement world in the future. I look forward to playing with my current college team one last year in hopes of playing with another great college team in the coming year.
I have played this dream sport, softball, since I was 8 years old. I haven’t drifted away from this sport even in the hardest of times. I am one to keep working at what makes me better and to never give up. That is why I do not want 2022 to be my last official year of softball in my 20 years of life. Softball helps me to connect with, not just myself more, but others as well. Softball is more than just a sport to me, it is motivation and commitment with aspiring drive to never give up.
