Cristin Casey '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Cristin Casey. I absolutely love the game of softball. I love to believe that it was my calling from God to play in college. Softball has helped me through some tough times. This sport has helped me grow as a person and as an athlete, especially as a multi sport athlete. I have made friends which have become my family. The coaches have also played a huge part of were I am now. I love to say I am a hard worker, I am always bugging my parents about taking me hitting, taking me to the field, or to go workout. I hate missing practice or a game. One time I cried because I missed a tournament for a family emergency when I was 10. This past summer I actually became a slapper. Now this took some convincing from my coach to make me switch, what can I say I loved hitting dingers. Since I have become a slapper I have worked my butt off to get good. Now my on base percentage has gone up, I have stolen 6 bases in two games. I love stealing, delayed stealing is even better. I love playing in the field, diving, and running after the ball. What can I say I love to get dirty.
