Basketball is my favorite sport because of the excitement it gives me. Whether you are on or off the court, you are always doing something to help out by either cheering on your team from the bench, or helping push the team together as one to win on the court. Once stepping onto the court, all problems go away and I focus on the game. There is nothing else going on and its just me and the game. One of my favorite things about basketball is being able to grow closer to my teammates, and work together to give 100%. Another thing about basketball that I love is even though you are on a team, you can show your individual skills that you have been working on as well. During the fall season, I play volleyball which helps me focus on some things that I would not normally with basketball. During volleyball, being a middle hitter, it is key to be able to work on jumping over the net and being able to put the ball down.
I hope to play basketball at the college level one day.
