Lilly Morrison '21 Recruiting Profile

I have thoroughly enjoyed basketball since I was very young. My love for this sport has only grown more and more over the years. Basketball has taught me how to be a good teammate, how to be coachable, and how to be mentally tough on and off the court.  I have been a starter for the Boaz Lady Pirates at the varsity level since my freshman year.  I have also been on a competition swim team since I was 7, and have qualified for the ARPA State Competition each year in swim.  I have earned many individual medals, including an individual event state gold medal.  As a team, we have been blessed to receive ARPA state runner up and ARPA State Champions. We are also very lucky to have a top notch athletic training facility in our town. As a supplement to my sports, I do strength and conditioning at AthElite Nation. I have found this to compliment all sports I am involved in and enjoy the discipline and strength it has brought to my game. My parents have always helped instill in me the importance of a great education. I work very hard to maintain a high GPA, and I believe that sports has helped me to stay focused and motivated in this area as well. Outside of school and sports, I am very active within my church and enjoy my youth group. Our church is very mission oriented, and I believe this helps me to continue developing a selfless and appreciative attitude to whatever life brings my way.
