My name is Mikayla Shamburger and I am a senior at Grace Christian School in Anchorage, Alaska. I have been able to play on my high school's women's basketball team for my past four years of high school. I have been a starter since my sophomore year. I have trained as a center but have recently expanded my position to a power forward as well. I am able to play on the block, as well as handle the ball up top and shoot threes. I have a very good shooting percentage from inside the key as well as at the three point line.
As far as academics, I am a hard working student. I understand the concept of the "student-athlete."
