Nicole Castellanos '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved playing sports. My Mom introduced me to club soccer when I was five and I won a State Championship when I was only ten. My Dad then introduced me to basketball at age 10 and I was hooked! No more softball or soccer for me, I just wanted to be in the gym!  Last year, at the beginning of my Junior Year, my Dad talked me into trying out for his High School Football team. I made the team! First female football player at my high school.  I even made the winning 30 yard field goal to win the homecoming game.  And yes, I even played on the field and have three tackles!

As you can see, I am not afraid of trying new things. I work hard at everything I do and will give 110% to everything I commit to. I pride myself by earning great grades and making sure I donate my time back through charities in my community. I work for a landscaping company (yes, landscaping in Phoenix Arizona in the summers!), and love it! 

I am excited to continue to play basketball in college.  I hope you have had a chance to check out my profile or even better see me play. I’m passionate about basketball, school and my family. Excited to see which College will be my next adventure in life.
