Personal Statement

Ever since I was little I had a ball in my hands. My aunt at that time was playing AAU, and high school ball. I would go to practice with her, I would run with her and I was only 2. The reason why I'm a good candidate because I'm very coachable, I listen, hardworker. Plus I know the game very well. By the time I was about 10 my aunt stared a co-ed basketball team. I loved it. I feel in love with game at such a younge age. When I moved to Arizona that's when ball stared to pick up for me. My aunt coach doll coached me in soccer, volleyball, and basketball. She made her own AAU team called the Amazons. We were a traveling team. We went to Las vegas, New mexico, Texas, Colorado, California. It was so much fun. When I graduated from the 8th grade I went to Casa Grande Union High School. My freshman year we had an amazing year. We strived for state. But things didn't go our way. After a hurtful lost we stared training everyday. 2 a days during june. Plus AAU. I was a very busy girl. During the summer of my freshman year I went to North Carolina individual camp, Position Camp. It was a great experience for me at such a young age. I came back to AZ and I felt as a player nobody could stop me. My sophomore year came around it was a amazing year. We made to second round state but unfortunately didn't push through. After that lost I got on a plan to North Carolina Again for the College elite camp. Probably the best basketball I've ever played. When I came back ball was so different. It kinda felt easy. This past weekend I went to the Dallas National Tournament. We placed 4th in over 900 teams. My academics as a student athlete is very flawless. Like my coach says all the time if you can't make it in the class room then you can't make it on the court. I strive for excellent grades. Yes we all struggle but I tend to trust that struggle and pull through on top.
