My name is Aleigha Sanchez and I have been playing basketball since March of 2023. I grew up in San Diego, California. At 13 I was fortunate to work with dedicated coaches and teammates. In California, I participated in several tournaments but my most favorite was the Girls California Live NCAA. Since moving to Oden, Arkansas I have found another set of amazing coaches that truly show their dedication to the sport and their athletes. I openly accept advice from my coaches and put it into one play style. Basketball is a true passion and I love being able to play and clear my mind.
As a committed student-athlete, a good work-ethic can be used on and off the court. I work just as hard in school, maintaining over a 3.5 GPA, as I do when I am on the court. My future dreams include coming back to my current school to coach basketball and work as a health teacher.
When I’m off the court and away from education, I love spending time with my family.
I’d be grateful for any college that would want me to positively represent their name academically and athletically.
