I have always loved the game of basketball since I was a kid. I’ve watched my uncle and cousins who‘ve played division 1 basketball/pro basketball as well as my brother who went D2 growing up. Seeing them become successful within the world of basketball has encouraged me to do the same. Its a dream of mine to give back to my parents who have sacrificed hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars for me to make it to the next level. As I have played basketball for my entire life I have discovered a lot things about myself that I probably would not have seen without basketball.
I played as a freshman on the varsity team and that helped me grow immensely. As i learned from 2 seniors on the team who taught me a lot. My sophomore year on varsity I took action and became a team leader myself, which led me to become captain of my team. My academic goals for the remainder of high school is to get anywhere above a 3.5 GPA as I am very capable of that and beyond. I strive in the classroom to be the best I can be. In college, I plan to major in Psychology as I love to help people and really get to the core of any problem. I want to further my education and go for my Doctorate Degree as well. I am a very hard worker, I am true to myself, I am mature, and a determined leader on and off the court which makes me believe that I can make an impact immediately on your program.
