My goal for college basketball is to get into the highest competitive rank that I can. I love being the underdog where I can push myself to improve because that drive makes me better.
I bring more than just my size and height onto the basketball floor. I recognize that my strong suit isn't offense; it is, in fact, defense, and I believe that defense win games. Offensive players can have hot and cold games, but defense is a skill. My current coach puts me on the court because I can stop players from down low and box out and get rebounds over anyone on the court. So my primary way of scoring isn't from getting passes; it is offensive rebounds.
I balance work, high school classes, basketball, volleyball, and typically two college classes a semester. I am responsible about staying on top of things and keeping active, which some other student-athletes have a difficult time with.
