Hello, my name is Allison McDonald and I attend Union Mine High School in El Dorado, CA and am set to graduate in 2020. Currently I am a 4.0 student looking towards studying Kinesiology/Sports Medicine. I am looking for a college that offers one or more of these majors.
I have played on the varsity team since my sophomore year. I was the 6th man during my sophomore year, team and unanimously voted all league MVP, broke my schools high scoring record for the season with 506 and the record for points scored in a game with 37.
My junior year was very successful, as a starter and captain, I helped lead my team to the Division 4 finals and Nor Cal State semi finals. I was again voted all league, all metro and all state for Northern California and was honored by my team for breaking the 1000 point mark in my varsity career, a feat only accomplished by one other player in our schools history.
This summer was my AAU teams most successful yet going 16-5 over 4 showcase tournaments, coming in 1st at the Nike Tournament of Champions was especially rewarding.
I am an avid reader, enjoying traveling and spending time at my local animal shelter playing with the pets there. I am currently employed with Placerville Parks and Recreation as a gym supervisor.
