Monica Malone '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Monica Malone. I am currently a senior at Summit High School. I have been playing basketball since I was 7 years old and fell in love with the game instantly. Playing at the college level has always been a goal of mine. Every year I pushed myself harder and harder to become better then i was the year before. After playing point guard my freshman year I moved up to varsity and played shooting guard or small forward. I put a lot of effort into this game and have always been one of the more aggressive players on the floor. I love to dive for the ball take charges and hustle to get back on a play. Academically I usually maintain a 3.3 - 3.5 GPA and have 3 AP classes I am taking this school year. Being a student athlete is apart of who I am and both basketball and my grades are very important to me. Finding the right college that will offer me both is my overall goal.
