Ariana Angulo '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ariana Angulo and I am a senior at Tennyson High School out of Hayward, California in the class of 2022. 

Being the oldest sibling has taught me  the importance and value of being a good role model to my younger siblings.  Though I’ve faced hardship, I don’t let that stop my smile or my shine! I am positive and self-motivated. Adversity has fueled me to keep the course and push harder. My work ethic goes far beyond the court, not only within academics where I hold a 3.9 GPA, but within my community.  My genuine love for people is what drives me. I currently mentor young middle schoolers that have recently immigrated to the US by helping them navigate their new surroundings and giving them someone to talk to.  At 6 years old, I fell in love with basketball and my goal is to continue to work hard, not only on the court but in life. I have been on various teams, starting in Catholic youth leagues, AAU teams,  and now currently the captain on my high school varsity team. 

In college, I will pursue a degree in business, to prepare myself for future entrepreneurship all the while balancing school work and basketball.  I’m looking forward to joining a team that has a family bond where we win on and off the court and where continuous growth is possible.
