Growing up, I've always loved sports. I participated in track, soccer, volleyball and was eager to play almost everything else, but basketball has always played the most central role in my sports life.
Basketball has given me some of the most amazing opportunities in the world, including participating in the inaugural Jr. NBA World Championship, travelling around the country, being featured in a Wall Street Journal Article, and being able to be surrounded by the most elite coaches and athletes. My main goal is to play elite college basketball while also receiving an excellent education.
I am a mature, poised, and vocal leader who works hard and doesn't take plays off. My coachability, attitude, and attention to detail separates me from other players. From my 12+ years of playing basketball, I've developed a high basketball IQ, translating my thoughtfulness and control on and off the court. I play fiercely on both sides of the court, taking great pride in my defense while bringing the same energy on the offensive side. I have the ability to score from all three levels of the court (attacking the basket, mid-range, and three-pointers), creating shots for myself and my teammates, who I lead consistently. Putting the interest of the team ahead of the individual has always been my priority and I proudly celebrate my teammates' successes as well as my own. I'm adaptable and adept at executing the coaches' game plans, committing entirely to the whatever is expected. I've played 2+ years of Nike EYBL Basketball so far and it has really opened my eyes to what it’s like competing against some of the best players from around the world. I believe I can play at the next level and contribute to any program who is looking for a disciplined, intelligent player. Additionally, my first three years of playing on high school team have taught me valuable lessons that can be carried over at the college level, including how to work with those that may be older than me and to earn their respect and achieve a common goal.
Outside of basketball, I am an exceptional student and always put forth my best effort. I am very personable and love building relationships with people. I take part in several volunteering and student leadership opportunities/clubs at school and always continue to look for ways to be more involved while giving back to my community.
I am excited for what lies ahead of me and hope to find a college that will foster an environment fit for my passions.
