I have played basketball since I was 8 years old and from the moment I touched a basketball I knew it was going to be a huge part of my life. Since I joined my first club team at 10 years old, I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I have gained high basketball IQ and strong point guard skills. I know how to take a ball down the court and drive to the basket. Playing on varsity since freshman year and being a captain for the past two years has taught me how to work well with others and lead my team to victory. I know I can depend on my teammates and they can depend on me.
Off the court, I have maintained a 4.0 grade point average and picked up other sports like track and lacrosse. I love the thrill of adrenaline and the feeling after working together to execute a good play. I also participate in the Best Buddy Club and The Giving Tree Club and love to give back to my community.
I want to attend a college where I can be pushed both academically and athletically and get to play the sport I love. I would love to be a leader on the court and learn from my teammates. I am open to all options and ultimately hope to make my teammates and family proud.
