After graduating high school, my goal is to attend a college with a great women's basketball program, as well as a good Business Management program. Playing basketball is extremely important to me and I hope to continue playing throughout college. Aside from basketball, I would also like to take courses related to building my own business. It is my dream to open a business related sports and youth development. All sports, including basketball, are a great way to help build character in teens and young adults. The same way basketball has helped me grow as a student and a person, sports can help many others grow in the same way.
Every recruit is different in one way or another. My greatest strengths as a recruit are endurance, leadership, and strength. As a student athlete, I have focused on participating in track and field, tackle football, as well as basketball. At the same time, I have dedicated myself to being the team captain and helping to guide my teammates throughout our games and practices. Throughout my time as a student athlete, I have also dealt with many things outside of school. In my spare time, I spent many evenings by my father's bed side in the hospital. My father passed away a few weeks ago, however, I have still maintained my school work and participation with my team. It was difficult, at times, to stay attentive in class, be active in games, and spend time with my family during all that we have gone through. Although it was difficult, it helped me grow stronger as a student, player, and person.
