I fell in love with basketball later than most people do. I wasn't exposed or allowed to play on any teams as a little kid because I was already so involved with Track and Field. It wasn't until 5th grade that I touched a basketball but back then it was all fun and games. I would play at P.E with the boys but I was never taken serious because "I was a girl." It took until 8th grade for others to take me serious because they could tell I grew mentally, emotionally and physically. By the time high school came around I knew basketball was the sport I wanted to pursue. I plan to prove the same thing in college. I am a strong combo guard that doesn't only focus on self development but also the overall development of my team. My ability to adapt and willingness to learn is what makes me different. Whether I'm on the court or off I am always determined to improve myself in any way possible.
