My freshman year of basketball I realized that it would be something I would never want to let go of. I have never been on a team that dominates all they play against. I feel that this has pushed me to never stay idle in my development. From working on my defense to stay on the floor to developing offensively. I have dedicated my summers and much of my time to being capable of playing at higher, college levels. I have been fortunate enough to have parents that support this in allowing me to play AAU. Through playing for this program I have developed my leadership skills, even being voted team captain by my team. I've learned the importance of teamwork, dedication, sacrifice, and leadership. Values which I carry through into my school basketball team.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me not only athletically but academically. I believe I not only possess the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, leadership skills, and mental attitude to make a positive impact on your program. As an athlete who is constantly working on their physical and mental game, I know that I can be a leader and asset to your team!
