Danielle Friedrich '17 Recruiting Profile

    I have had the pleasure of playing high school basketball with great teammates and two very knowledgeable coaches. We have yet to win a championship. Although win or lose each game helped re-focus my attention to grow as an individual and as a member of the team. I believe that finishing second to last my sophomore year is when I really grew as a student- athlete. Finishing second to last place challenged me to focus more on my skills. I attended off-season workouts and additional practice sessions. The additional skills and knowledge gained along with my more focused approach to my position allowed me the ability to play with the best talent in our league. I have come from an amazing program and have supportive parents which have helped me learn the value of leadership and teamwork. This combined with my sacrifice and commitment have allowed me to become a person and basketball player that I believe would add value to any college team. I am looking for a college that is a great fit for me academically as well as athletically to continue my focus to achieve success both in the classroom and on the basketball court. I have the work-ethic, character, and leadership to compete at the college level and make an impact on your program!
