Kate Cover '22 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball has been a passion of mine since I was nine years old.  Playing at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine and I’m working to make that goal a reality. I hope to continue to grow and develop my skill to be an asset to a collegiate program. I also have high educational goals in addition to athletic goals. I’m looking for a program that will not only further my playing abilities, but also be a good fit academically. 

I believe that many useful life skills can be acquired through playing volleyball, especially in college. It teaches leadership, teamwork, commitment, and challenges you to create priorities. In college, academics will be my main focus, but I will give 100% dedication to the sports programs as well. On every team I’ve been on, I’ve learned many useful skills and traits that have helped me become who I am today.  I’ve been a captain for many years and I know I will be able to contribute to your team and continue to improve my skills.
