I am a leader and a good sport. My height does not define me I have been playing basketball for several years while dealing with scoliosis. I played on an all Boy's basketball team last year and yes I was the only girl but I choose to do this because I want to represent other basketball girls out in the world so I can show them that girls have the ability to compete against anyone no matter if they are male or female. No matter if my team feels down I will help bring them up. This season I am playing on my school's first Girls' Varsity basketball team as a starter. I do not make others feel bad if my team loses, I show them that we can and will succeed and excel because we all will learn from our mistakes. I will continue making my friends, family, and especially my great-grandfather proud by caring about his legacy.
